Girls rule, boys drool

More details on H3 Beta/Crackdown workings
Schedonnardus noticed a story at Xbox360Fanboy which shows the invite card that comes with Crackdown - unfortunately for folks who planned to rent Crackdown in order to play the Halo 3 Beta, you'll need the disc in order to play the beta. (It's unclear, from the invite card, whether each disc will be limited in how many downloads it can perform; it's POSSIBLE, though by no means assured, that you'll be able to participate in the beta with a rented copy of Crackdown for as long as the rental lasts.) Writing the Halo Screenplay
Gamasutra has a podcast interview with DB Weiss, the most recent Halo screenplay writer. He talks quite a bit about the process, and about working with Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh.
