Halo Community Update and Episode 23 of The Bulletin
It'd be nice if 343 would spread these new posts out on days other than Friday, but in addition to the latest Canon Fodder all about us, HaloWaypoint also has the latest Halo Community Update and episode of The Bulletin. In the Halo Community Update, Bravo goes into great detail on the new Halo 5 Arena map, The Rig. I mean, seriously, I don't believe I've seen this much explanation and pictures on a map from concept to final! There's also a quick MCC playlist update recap and some community spotlights to check out.
Then, in the latest episode of The Bulletin, Jay takes you behind the scenes with MEGA Bloks to show you how the little plastic Halo guys are made! There's also a quick look at The Rig multiplayer map from the Halo Community Update, a couple of community spotlights and some highlight videos from HCS Gamescom Invitatinal. The Surprising Twists of Red vs Blue
Really not doing very well at consistent reporting, but hey... it's summer! Three weeks ago, we mentioned that Rooster Teeth had released Red vs Blue Season 13 Episode 15 - 'Armonia, Part One'. Since then, they've released Armonia, Part Two (Doyle acts in a surprising manner), All or Nothing (Locus shows a surprising level of morality), and Great Destroyers (knives provide some surprises). Halo Vanguards YouTube Channel featuring Ducain23, Mr Pokephile and More
There are a lot of people on YouTube making videos about video games, but there are some people that have been doing it so long, and so well, that you know them by name. Ducain23, Mr Pokephile, Gamecheat, Bullet and iSpiteful are some of those names, and they have now teamed up for one YouTube channel called 'Halo Vanguards'. They have a daily release schedule with new content planned Sunday through Saturday. Make sure you follow their YouTube page (or at least check it out) to stay up to date with all things Halo! Ready Up Live's Warzone Gameplay with Spartan Laser, Plasma Pistol and Vehicle Seat Swapping

'I Love Bees: Definitive Edition' Now Available!
We just mentioned it yesterday, and now it's here! The I Love Bees: Definitive Edition is now available on iTunes and a straight RSS feed. They also made available their full podcast review that starts with the trailer and tells the story - including some fascinating behind-the-scenes tidbits they've unearthed. This is a true love story to the audio drama/ARG of I Love Bees that many of us experienced here on HBO during the Halo 2 release. Canon Fodder - Jurassic Ark
The first GrimBrother stopped by our forums again this week with another piece of fodder for you canon lovers. This week it's all about the novel 'Halo: Hunters In The Dark', but don't let that stop you from reading this if you've yet to pick up the book (which you should buy if you haven't)! There's plenty on the new characters in the novel, an interesting look at the wildlife mentioned in the book and an interview with the writer himself, Peter David. Eric Nylund, Amazon and No Correlation
With the recent article in the New York Times about the reported working conditions at Amazon, I guess many in the games industry did a bit more Googling than they normally do. While Eric Nylund (largely known around these parts for penning 'The Fall of Reach') left Amazon in July of this year, Gamespot, IGN and others are reporting it this week as news. Eric posted on his blog that there is no correlation between the New York Times article and his leaving the Amazon Games Studio and that he only cried once while working there. Many around HBO loved the viral ARG that released with Halo 2 called I Love Bees. While bits and pieces of the story are available here and there, Gamewatcher over at BusyGamerNation.com has been cataloging the story told in the radio-style serial that accompanied the I Love Bees marketing campaign, and working his best to remaster the audio from the highest bit-rate samples available.
They will release the new and improved audio odyssey soon (along with a companion podcast to tell its stories and celebrate the ARG itself), but for now they have a few samples to listen to and a trailer of sorts for the undertaking. Sprint In Halo 2 Could Have Been

Halo 5: Guardians LE Console and Controllers Pre-Order
The Halo 5: Guardians pre-order page has been updated with the newly announced LE console and a pair of sweet new XBO controllers. The LE console includes the LE version of the game and FOTUS-class armor and multiplayer emblem along with it's metallic accents and custom sound effects. The new Spartan Locke and Master Chief-inspired controllers include a bonus REQ pack with in-game visors mimicking those of their respective homages. Halo World Championship in 2015
As a part of the Gamescom Reveals today, Xbox and 343 Industries announced the Halo World Championship where gamers will compete for a share of $1,000,000 in prize money. Halo Gamescom Reveals
343 Industries just showed off some new footage and features at Gamescom in Germany during the Microsoft Xbox Briefing. We have a brand new Arena map called Coliseum, new features in Arena multiplayer like player outlines during a match, the Halo World Championship was announced with a $1 Million dollar prize pool, new maps for Arena and Warzone multiplayer shown off and a limited edition Halo 5: Guardians console with the a 1TB hard drive and the digital game included! Catching up on RvBS13
The heat here in Seattle has fried my brain; we're two weeks behind on Red vs Blue Season 13. And that's no good, because the series is AWESOME. Episode 14, Counseling, focuses on getting people who don't like each other to find nice things to say about each other (yeah, that doesn't always work), while Episode 15, Armonia, Part One, gets Carolina to face an old foe.
