A list of good games
IGN decided their last 'Top 25 Xbox 360 Games' list might not stand the test of time, so they revised it. (Looks liked they'd revised it already; if you step through the older version (which is dated 2011 now), you'll see that Reach is the only Halo game on the list, at #5... until you get to the final page, which shows the 2010 list, with Halo Wars at #17, Halo 3: ODST at #13, and Halo 3 at #5.) Halo 4 Front and Center at Eurogamer Expo
Eurogamer Expo 2012 is coming up in a month - it's a gaming festival that takes place every year in London. Recently, they announced the keynote speaker, kicking off the event on Thursday, September 27 - Frank O'Connor will present a Halo 4 Developer Session to showcase "this year's biggest Xbox 360 release". According to Tom Bramwell, Eurogamer Operations Director:
We were looking around for a big video game icon to open the show and they don't get much bigger than the Master Chief. The Master Chief is more than a video game star - he's a pop culture icon - and we can't wait to see what 343 Industries has in store for us.

Holograms and Hills
I watched a Double Team match posted by xClicked (thanks, Garrett 2U) that had me hanging on to the very end. xClicked and his buddy, Sleepy z Z z Z, decided to try and see how they'd do on a Matchmaking game of KotH using only Holograms... and melees. No grenades, no shooting - they had to beat their opponents with teamwork and stealth, or not at all. I found this really enjoyable to watch - check it out!

Halo After Dawn Eps 2 and 3
Mr Sark and Adam Kovic started their Halo After Dawn series (in which they talk behind the scenes with principals on the Forward Unto Dawn set) last month, with their interview with Stewart Hendler - yesterday, nillapuddin pointed out another couple of vids you might enjoy. in early August, they interviewed Enisha Brewster, who plays April Orenski, and the main topic of discussion was the UNSC Warthog. Then, yesterday, a new installment was released - this one is called 'The Haircut', and they discuss the recent 'Enlist' short (we mentioned THAT yesterday) with Tom Green (who plays Thomas Lasky). Reconciling Brilliance
There are times where I look at someone's work and know full well that I'm witnessing the developing stages of an incredibly bright future. Halo fans are probably already familiar with the fourth rock in the Sol system, with humanity slated to begin colonization on the red planet in 2080. Last night, we took another very real step toward that future with the successful and hugely impressive landing of the Mars Rover Curiosity. The nail-biting feat included a brand new and incredible landing procedure, carried out flawlessly and providing scientists with a priceless scientific asset for years to come. While we all love the fiction side of space travel, I'd like us to take a moment to recognize and congratulate all of those involved, from every corner of the globe, in making this event a success.
