Search Improvements
Okay, I'm not 100% positive it's bug-free... but it SEEMS to work. I've recoded the search function that accesses our news database for php; the biggest unknown is the cookie transfer between the main site (halo.bungie.org) and the machine that now handles the search function (nikon.bungie.org). It SHOULD work, in most cases, but it's quite possible there are exceptions. Nevertheless, it's orders of magnitude faster, and far more solid, as well; give it a whirl. (The News By Day function that's been down since Subnova went offline last week should be back up and running, using this new system, in the next day or two.) (Louis Wu 02:24:12 UTC)
