Homefront to let you fight in space
Interesting. The team from Homefront, the Battlefield 1942 mod, is working on a space map, called Alpha Centauri. Battle will take place on a pair of capital ships, and the asteroid field between them. Sounds like fun! There's a Q&A session about the map over at the main Battlefield 1042 site.
