Playable Pelican
Still catching up... Nick posted a link to a movie of a Pelican in Death Island (Halo PC) a couple of days ago. Looks pretty neat - you can jump in through the front, but vehicles bounce off. Seems like a pretty gnarly assault vehicle; no offensive weapons, but imagine flying 6 or 7 teammates across the map to the opposing base at Pelican speed! Movie is 20 mb, in .rar format; uncompressed, it's a WMP9 file. (Louis Wu 22:43:01 UTC)
