December 10, 1999 Link to this post Bryan Giordano writes in with some fascinating research. The US Patent and Trademark Office has a database of trademark text and images. A search on the word Bungie turns up 24 patents. Five of these belong to Bungie Software; one each for the name Bungie, Myth TFL, Halo, Oni, and Armor. Armor? This last patent was filed for on September 24, 1997... right around the time the Myth patent was registered. Clues on the meaning? Send in your theories! (Louis Wu 15:21:14 UTC) |
