More details from IGN
IGN has also put up an Insider-only article containing updates on the Halo 2 info beyond that which you can glean from watching the trailer. Much of this info is available elsewhere (our forum, for example, in the form of reports from the show or the fanfest), but some was new for me. Probably the most interesting bit was that the covenant mortar (referred to as a 'turret' by Marty O'Donnell at the show) you see early on in the trailer will be a controllable vehicle, much as the Shades are in Halo: CE.
