December 12, 2012 Link to this post Harvesting Confusion With the recent Crimson map pack release for Halo 4, many gamers found that they were able to download the map pack for free, which caused confusion amongst players and frustration amongst those who had paid for the maps. Kotaku posted an article detailing specifics as well as a comment from Microsoft PR explaining the situation. According to Microsoft, due to complications with the specialization code distribution, complimentary access to the Crimson map pack will run for a LIMITED time, through December 18th at 9am UTC/GMT. Hopefully Microsoft's message will reach as many players as possible, so as to not create more confusion when some players' map pack DLC disappears on the 18th. (colindosaj 12:23:22 UTC)
