October 17, 2012 Link to this post Begin Armed with a Hammer, End Up Armed with Hope We recently mentioned that our beloved hammer-wielding close friend and community colleague Goosechecka had wona Twitch scholarship for her work not only in the video game community, but also for her work using video games to help people go through therapy. She's gained a lot of much-deserved attention from many non-gaming channels for her work, and this latest article from the Washington Post shows that. It's a great interview with Goose (who is called by her more human name in the article, Kelli), and shows how she's truly making a difference for some people in need around her. Great stuff!
