Bungie's head of User Research, John Hopson, looked back at an article he wrote more than 10 years ago, when he was still a graduate student, and talked about its relevance in today's game design. The article discusses Behavioral Game Design, and while Halo's not mentioned directly, the subject of how games get people to keep playing them has been a hot topic on our forum recently, and the ideas in this article are fantastic food for thought.
