Gamespy says 'eh'
Gamespy has put up their full Halo review... and they weren't that imporessed. A solid title, but nothing special. Mostly, they were frustrated with what they saw as repetitive gameplay ("It's like a videogame equivalent of Groundhog Day"). You can't please everyone... Charles Clifford gets the first-spot nod.
