Minecraft: Alpha Halo v.2
Nikko B201 let us know yesterday that he'd overhauled his 'Minecraft Classic Alpha Halo' area - a Minecraft play area which takes all kinds of inspiration from Halo. His post gives you instructions on how to spawn yourself into the map - but if you're not a Minecraft player, and just want to see what he's done, he's posted a Photobucket gallery, showing off a couple of dozen shots.
