A Saturday of Awards
In addition to the Spike VGA's, there was a second ceremony that took place yesterday - Machinima.com's 2010 Inside Gaming Awards. Marcus Lehto and Marty O'Donnell were on hand, and they took home 'Best Innovation in Game Design' (for Forge 2.0), beating out Call of Duty: Black Ops (wager matches), Dance Central (full body recognition dancing), Heavy Rain (interactive cinematography experience), and Rock Band 3 (Pro Guitar mode and peripheral).
