Fate - bringer of death, giver of life
There's been quite a bit of discussion over the past week or so about Peter Jackson, Neill Blomkamp, and the Halo projects that seem to have withered without really becoming publicly dead. There's a new article up on Kotaku right now in which Jackson talks specifically about how the death of the Halo movie was, in fact, the birth of District 9, the Jackson-produced, Blomkamp-directed film opening in a couple of weeks.
