Tonight's Bungie Weekly Update is devoted, for the most part, to a recap of the Bungie vs the World shenanigans that took place on Tuesday - Bungie Day 2009. The studio gave out over 1000 sets of Recon armor to lucky players - which really isn't that much, considering that over 7 million player-games ticked over in that 24 hour period, but is a BOATLOAD, considering that a few months ago, the total number of Recon-sporters in the WORLD was just over 500. Nice going, World! The writeup is a fun read, and also contains a recap of some other goodies that were made public during the week, and a summary of some of the funniest messages sent by unhappy fans. Go read!
