Weta's Unique Statues - Nearly Gone
A couple of days ago, the Weta Workshop released their second podcast - there's an interesting interview covering the development of the Halo 3 silver collectibles. Three of those four unique pieces have now been sold on eBay - Master Chief and Grunts finished up at $3,050, Master Chief and Arbiter at $2,113.88, and Master Chief and Flood brought in $1,843.81. The silver Cortana statue is currently at $1,650, but I doubt it'll finish there; the auction ends in about nine hours - if you want a shot at this, you'd be well-advised to be online at 6:29 pm PDT, for that last-minute bid. Go listen to the podcast, and then get ready for that final bidding! Update: Cortana statue sold for a total of $2,358.35. Nice! (I'm surprised - I thought it would go for more.
