Forge Artwork, Revisited
Interesting. I saw a bunch of articles on creating artwork in Halo 3 come through my Google News Alerts in the last couple of days, but said "oh, that's just the story we mentioned a week or two ago," and moved on. (Yes, I talk to myself in hyperlinks.) Turns out I was wrong; Wired Magazine has done a couple of pieces on Brock Davis (the artist) - there's a step-by-step walkthrough on how the image was created, and an interview with the artist.
