Antebios has Halo bias (or vice-versa)
JosephAW noticed a computer animated short film ('Antebios') highlighted on the SciFi channel. The movie itself is visible on SfiFi.com's website... if you have a Macintosh, Netscape, and a (very) fast connection, the On2 link is pretty astounding. Otherwise, it's available in RealPlayer format. Joseph mentions it because the alien sounds a lot like the Covenant sound in the E3 trailer. (There are other similarities... the humans have projectile weapons, while the alien uses an energy weapon, the doors of the base used by the humans and the hallways in which they walk bear a striking resemblance to the ancient structure highlighted in the Halo movies... the alien (well, the 'good' alien) has hooflike feet, similar to the covenant... and more, if you want to watch it.) The film was made in 1998 by a French designer who (among other things) makes video games. Definitely worth a look, if you're on a fast connection! (Louis Wu 17:16:03 UTC)
