Don't make the lightbulb angry.
RVideo was screwing around on The Ark, and discovered something pretty odd; if you kill off all your Marines (on purpose), 343 Guilty Spark will make you pay. (He also took a shot from your perspective.) I made a small video showing the nastiness (3 mb, WMP9 | QT); please forgive my lousy capture equipment. It'll be getting better soon. Using Sparky as the deus ex machina to keep you from wiping out all your allies seems like an odd choice for Bungie; now they have to come up with some sort of explanation for why he doesn't use that beam at any other point (well, except one). Brings back memories of killing Keyes on the Pillar of Autumn, though... good stuff. (Louis Wu 19:21:10 UTC)
