Tourneys around the US
Got word of a couple of different tournaments coming up soon. Zoolu let us know about Battle for Scouting a tourney to benefit the Boy Scouts - they've got a MySpace page, or you can read about it at 1Up.com, if you're allergic to MySpace. Entry fee is $50/team, 32 team max, with up to $800 going to the winning team (depending on participation, I'd assume). This takes place in Manitowoc, WI, on September 24. The second tournament is a 2v2 tourney being held in Redlands, CA on September 11 - Injunfett has the details (check the Toads Game Center website for the nitty gritty). $40/team, up to $250 for the winners.
