Marathon. Coming Soon to XBLA.
We didn't mention it last night, because we were afraid it was going to be buried in the Halo flood coming from the press conference... but another game announced during the evening was a title many thought they'd never see - Marathon 2 for Xbox Live Arcade. A spectacular homage to Halo's predecessor, this is being built by Freeverse - and more specifically, the developers working on it have been members of the Marathon community for pretty much as long as the Marathon community has existed. These guys are the hardest of the hardcore, and if ANYONE was gonna touch this property for XBLA... these are the guys you want doing it.
