July 5, 2007 Link to this post Leading the Pack Entertainment Weekly rated all three 'Next-Gen' consoles (360, Wii, PS3) last November; at the time, they'd given the 360 an A-, the Wii a B+, and the PS3 a B. They're back with a 'Midterm Report Card', and everybody but the 360 has lost ground. (They acknowledge that the Wii is currently outselling the 360, but they lament its lack of compelling games.) Why is this Halo news? Well, mostly because of their belief that it "looks like it's up to one man — a battle-armored warrior from Earth's distant future — to stop Nintendo's seemingly inexorable march to console dominance." Upcoming titles, led by the "Halo 3 onslaught", will keep the 360 on top. (Louis Wu 12:07:22 UTC)
