Makin' a Buck
This popped up yesterday, but I forgot to mention it. Apparently, one of the UK sites that has been given a set of beta slots to give away to fans has decided to SELL those slots. Microsoft was not amused, and warned any site caught doing this would be cut off from all future Microsoft goodies. (Presumably, the slots that were sold will be voided, as well.) If the site you love is SELLING slots instead of giving them away, run; as Evil Otto puts it - "the only thing you will purchase is disappointment." Thanks to Red_Breast for the first heads-up. Update: looks like that Britbox article has been yanked - Deadguy71 found a different one that's still live, at HEXUS Gaming. (Louis Wu 13:33:40 UTC)
