NYC Tourneys
Johnathan Lugo wrote to point out NYC Gaming, a site offering a number of Halo tourneys - there's one in Brooklyn on September 2 ($30 pp to get in, MLG sponsorship on the line), and another in Manhattan on September 9 ($20 to get in, $300 plus prizes for first place).
