Pax 2014 - Biased Cat's Quest for Halo

Interesting - Lord Zedd added Gutas to Reach's Firefight mode, just for giggles. With no long-range attacks, the fights are not as varied as I'd expected... but they still look like they'd have added some spice to the mode! Thanks, gamerguy2002. (Louis Wu 19:10:22 UTC)

H2A Cutscenes... In-Engine (sort of)
Intriguing. We know that Halo 2 Anniversary was released with Blur-created CGI cutscenes... but apparently the original (in-engine style) scenes were being worked on at some point... and some NeoGAFfers found a way to see them. Halo 3 Beta - Early Spawn Points

Exploring the codebase
gamerguy2002 has been keeping track of Lord Zedd's modding progress - he let us know about some unused Halo 4 death messages (these are pretty funny), a pretty disturbing video showing what characters look like without faces, and a two-for-one showing off some unused assets that were left in the game. Fun stuff!

Drinking Games Ep 5 - Screen Watchers
Once upon a time, we let you know about a group called TeamSexy (most of the posts were in 2003 and 2004, though there've been a few references to SexyJosh in the following five years) - they liked Halo, a lot. Recently, they've been hosting a series called Drinking Games, and in honor of the release of The Master Chief Collection, they devoted an episode to Halo. I found it pretty entertaining. I... he's WHERE?
DrBizz let us know that he's expanded on his discovery of a hidden warthog in Cairo Station (we mentioned that back in March 2013). He's actually figured out a way to have the hog driveable! This is done on an original Xbox, with an unmodded version of the game. So what do you do if you're a crazy trickster and you have a warthog? Yep, you guessed it - you launch it.
