Places to shoot people
Our policy on magazine scans is "no posts before the issue is off the newsstands" - but Morpheus stopped by with a single-page scan of a bit from a recent GameInformer, and we're gonna let it slide. (I don't actually know what issue it's from - but it's only a partial page, and even the most recent issue hit stands almost a month ago.) It's a feature called 'Top 10 FPS Multiplayer Maps' - and Halo's Blood Gulch makes #4 on the list. Nice! (Louis Wu 15:06:53 UTC)

Vintage Fisticuffs: The Grand Canyon
If you're over at Halo Waypoint to check out Midnight in the Heart of Midlothian, Part 2 (don't miss it), there's a new feature, as well: Vintage Fisticuffs, a series of videos that will look back at some of the epic battles in Halo's campaigns. First up: The Grand Canyon, the battle on Two Betrayals leading up to the destruction of the second pulse generator. What a great idea, Waypoint! It's all nicely narrated (and played, one would assume) by fan-turned-Waypoint employee Vociferous. Check it out! Thanks, Morpheus. (Louis Wu 19:52:37 UTC)

IGN Strategize: Vidmaster Challenge in ODST
Morpheus noticed that there's a new 'Strategize' feature on Xbox LIVE Marketplace - it's an IGN feature that has suggestions for beating the Vidmaster: Endure achievement. (Morpheus doesn't think their strategy is a very good one - but you can watch it for yourself to decide.) If you don't have access to Xbox LIVE at the moment, we've put HD versions up online: the WMP9 version and the QuickTime version are each 121 mb. (Louis Wu 20:04:28 UTC)
