Legendary Exodus Speed Run, with Commentary

Halo 4 Gametypes - Regicide
Gah - I pulled this out yesterday, but forgot to post it - RC Master has taken the really vague description of the new gametype 'Regicide' (mentioned briefly in a recent Game Informer interview) and attempted to flesh out how it will work. Over at NeoGAF, WJD posted a photo of the cover of the May 2012 OXM UK mag (the "Exclusive Subscribers' Cover"!) - we've hosted a local copy for convenience' sake. Take a look - it shows off a gun we haven't seen before! It's not a grenade launcher, and it's not a Spartan Laser. Hmm...

Spartan Ops - You Can Solo Them
Another quick tidbit of clarification about Spartan Ops was posted by David Ellis over at NeoGAF last night - you can play it solo. Should soothe some of the anxiety of folks worried that it sounded like if you didn't have a coop partner, you'd be out of luck!

AssaultGodzilla is back with another Halo music video - this one is set to War of Change, from Thousand Foot Krutch. LOVE the timing and clip choices. Fantastically done! (I'm really impressed with how he can find clips that resonate with repeated lyrics without having to resort to doubling back to content he's already used - it's really creative.)

Why the Halo Movie Failed to Launch
Wired Magazine has a pretty interesting article, excerpted from Jamie Russell's new book Generation Xbox: How Video Games Invated Hollywood, that looks back at the whole Halo Movie fiasco of 2005-2006. Some of this information is pretty common knowledge (at least among Halo fanatics), but Russell did a fantastic job of putting the story together, and some of the backstory is definitely new (to me, at least).
