Farewell To a Legend
KontrolFreek, the guys who make those little adaptors that sit on top of your Xbox controller's analog sticks and give you tighter control, have a new contest going. The FPS Freek Legendarys, a variant of their product designed specifically for Halo, is being retired - when this last batch is gone, they're gone. And to say goodbye in style, they've put together a heck of a prize package - A Reach Xbox 360, a Weta Halo statue, and a pair of Legendarys signed by Steve Downes. All you need to do is enter your email! This contest officially kicks off on Saturday - but because you're reading this on HBO, you get to sign up early. Check it out, sign up... and maybe grab a pair just in case you don't win! (I wrote a mini-review of these puppies last year, and the KontrolFreek guys answered a bunch of questions for us soon after that. I'm not getting paid for this - I can recommend these because I use 'em, and love 'em.) (Louis Wu 22:03:42 UTC) (permalink)
Requiem for a Scream A few days ago, we mentioned HAL0 M4N's new Zombie-centric Reach machinima project called "Requiem". He's just let us know that Episode 2 is now available as well. Go and check it out! (GrimBrother One 18:05:47 UTC) (permalink)
Powering Up a Fighter Jet Halo Waypoint put up their latest Halo Bulletin last night, which features some further information on some of the Halo toys shown off at the NY Toy Fair, as well as some thoughts on Master Chief's new look. Expanding on that thought was the latest "OHI" feature written by Kenneth Scott, Senior Art Director of Halo 4. Definitely some information worth chewing on, so go and check it out! Also, if you prefer less loading and lighter borders, you can always check out our local version, which Wu magically access the Domain for a moment to convert. Enjoy!
