Want Some Old-School Fun in Your Forge? This duck Fits the Bill
Sometimes, there are people that all at once inspire you to push harder, and yet quit all at the same time. pete_the_duck is one such beacon for me in Halo Forge Mode. His latest creation is so elegantly simple and yet so fun and brilliant it's not even funny! Ever thought to yourself, "Man, I would really love to play musical chairs, but I only have a couch and no friends. And I really want to play some Halo as well..." Well now you can do BOTH. Shield & Sword: A Leviathan Take on the Next Halo Game
One of HBO's resident art savants, Mr. Levi "Why Hasn't He Been Hired Yet" Hoffmeier (aka Leviathan) recently bestowed upon our humble forum his latest project. It's his personal "what-if" concept of the next Halo game that he calls "Shield and Sword", and it details everything from UI design to feature structure and organization. DayandKnightly brings word that Part II of his Contact Harvest analysis is up on his excellent blog, "Reactive Bias". It is absolutely worth checking out, especially if you haven't had the chance to pick up the book itself in a while. So many great details are brought back into the light with this excellent and insightful look into one of the best additions to the Halo Fiction. Absolutely check it out!
