Halo Data to migrate from B.net before April
If you swing by Bungie.net, you'll see a new article - it puts a final date on the live Halo data they'll be able to manage. That date is March 31 - after that point, all stats (and any other online features related to Halo games) will be found only on Halo Waypoint. Here's hoping that Waypoint stats can be fleshed out a bit more, and features like film clips and screenshots can be migrated by then! (Historical data isn't going anywhere; Bungie will continue to maintain what they already have online. They simply will not be adding NEW data after that date.) (Louis Wu 19:45:14 UTC) (permalink)
Halo 4 indirect info - from toys
wwm0nkey posted these pictures at NeoGAF over the weekend, but it was a busy weekend; he found some boxes for the Jada Toys die-cast vehicles coming out in August at the Idle Hands blog. The artwork is placeholder-only... but it's interesting to see what vehicles will be returning for Halo 4! (Louis Wu 17:40:28 UTC) (permalink)
Warthog Diaries: Episode 1
Revenant1988 came by with a fun writeup of some group BTB activity he calls 'Warthog Diaries: Episode 1'. Sounds like an entertaining evening! (Louis Wu 17:36:58 UTC) (permalink)
Halo Reach Tricks: Hiding Spots
CMNeir is back with another Trick video - this one points out hiding places in Halo: Reach multiplayer maps. Some are clever, but some are simply obnoxious - use these at your own peril. Remember - in custom games, where everyone is choosing to be there, this sort of thing is far less annoying than it is in Matchmaking.

Elders.TV Halo Spotlight
Chris from Elders.TV let us know about a new series called 'Halo Spotlight' - it focuses on sites around the Halo community. The first installment looked at petetheduck.com, while the second (posted this weekend) highlights the work of Anniversary Tournament Gaming, a site devoted to head-to-head gaming using gameplay from the Anniversary lists in Halo: Reach. Interesting stuff! (Louis Wu 17:23:53 UTC) (permalink)

DIY Bungie-themed iPod case skin padraig08 was unhappy that he couldn't show his love for Bungie while listening to music in public - so he designed his own skin for his iPod case. And he made the image available to you, if you want to follow suit. Nice!

BTF#8: Wiretapping the Cosmos
Dani stopped in yesterday with the newest Beyond the Frontline editorial at Forward Unto Dawn - this one was written by Dangerous Dave, and it looks back at 'Conversations of the Universe', a small booklet included with the Halo 2 Limited Edition. Dave laments its neglect (and discusses some of the great branches that could grow from it). Do not fear - Frankie sez it's still relevant.
