The Pentathlon Awaits
The Halo content is so slim as to be invisible (it consists of a couple of video screens in a single photo), but the Bungie Pentathlon is an annual event of great importance to Bungie employees (and Bungie fans) - and we're pretty big Bungie fans here, so we're gonna tell you about the latest article on Bungie.net. Deej has written up a nice summary of this year's event (which takes place tomorrow), including a mini-interview with Dave Dunn. For the first time in a really long time, there are no Halo games at all in the lineup. Wonga! We'll still be roothing for the Grizzled Ancients, though, cause old people have to stick together. Go read about it! (Louis Wu 17:46:30 UTC) (permalink)
Don't be fooled
We really shouldn't need to tell you this - but 343's David Ellis wants you to know that there's currently no Halo 4 Beta signup, so if you see one, it's not real. Thanks to Moorpheusl9 for the heads-up (he found it at CVG).

PGCR 101
Robowski sent word that Post Game Carnage Report Episode 101 is live - they spent a lot of time discussing the nine lives of Sgt. Johnson. Go listen!

We Always Figured They Would... In a pretty awesome piece of news, 343 Industries announced today that McFarlane Toys will be manufacturing a line of Halo 4 toys, as well as continuing the Halo Universe line (I know personally that GrimBrother IV will be ecstatic to see a Fred-104 figure in the lineup!). You can see a partial (very partial for Halo 4 obviously) lineup in the linked press release. Collectors, be at the ready! Also, as a bonus, I would like to personally link you to the local version of this week's Halo Bulletin from bs angel! (GrimBrother One 14:19:34 UTC) (permalink)
Kick Me, I'm a Reclaimer! bs angel dropped another new Halo Bulletin on us last night. Don't worry, everyone's fine. The focus of the new edition is an excellent interview with Tinkerbell himself, Tim Dadabo. Check it out for some awesome insight into not just how he feels about Halo, but also a peek at some of the many different roles his voice has given life to! (RAID Bugs? Really, Tim?!) The extra-awesome goodie at the end is a 25-minute preview of the upcoming Halo: Primordium audio book voiced by - you guessed it - Tim Dadabo. Go and check it out! [And because Grim hates me, and doesn't believe in mentioning our Halo Bulletin Archive, I'm gonna step in with a local link. And then I'm gonna go have a good cry. -lwu] (GrimBrother One 13:00:26 UTC) (permalink)
