It's a Grim Day
GrimBrother One has been an integral part of HBO for a while - but today, you can find him elsewhere around the web. Over at Xbox.com, he's the focus of the latest Gamer Spotlight - read it for some insight into the man himself. (I'm not sure what the 'XXX' underneath his home state of Florida, at the top, signifies... I worried at first that it would be a pornographic interview, but that turned out to be a baseless fear.) Play HCEA, Fly to LA
Wow - I'm not sure I understand how Halo Anniversary plays in all this... but G4TV has an announcement about a sweepstakes being conducted by Xbox LIVE, in relation to the upcoming movie Underworld Awakening. If you download the official Gamer Picture during the prize period (one of which ends tonight, and the next of which starts tomorrow), you will be entered into a sweepstakes whose winner will fly to LA in May for an Attack of the Show episode. Apparently, there's a dusk-till-dawn session of Halo Anniversary being scheduled this weekend as part of this promotion - but I can't find any info about that specifically. Thanks, ElzarTheBam! Earlier today Tex dropped in to our forums with word that she had just witnessed some Halo in her Jeopardy. A bit later, Mr. Sci-Fi from his Twitter feed found someone with video of the culturally cross-pollinating event. Cool stuff... I just hope he wagered "I <3 Cortana" at some point. Check it out!
