Halo Wars Update This month's Halo Wars Update is now online at HaloWars.com - info about the Alpha (including LIVE play), a mention of an article in this month's GamePro mag, some tidbits about the Campaign, and a higher-res version of the screenshot that was mentioned in our news this week. Omega was first with the word. (Louis Wu 22:01:51 UTC) (permalink)
Coffee Talk While ZZoMBiE13 is on a break, Another Halo Comic Strip will have some guest strips running. The first one is up now - Thanks to Keith Jones for a fantastic start. (Comments are, and will be, disabled for guest strips, by design; if you want to discuss these, you can use our forum.) (Louis Wu 17:03:23 UTC) (permalink)
Halo 3 Oversized
Cody Gordon has been working on a lot of panoramic Halo 3 shots - swing by his forum post, or his Flickr stream, for many, many examples! (Louis Wu 13:37:07 UTC) (permalink)
When did YOU start cheating? ab1 noticed an article on the Hitwise blog (aimed at internet marketing) discussing trends of game-related searches, specifically looking at release dates and cheat searches. A new(ish) egg on Snowbound
Last night, I noticed a post over at Xbox360Fanboy pointing out a Halo 3 easter egg I'd never heard of before. There's a Canadian Loonie buried in the ice on Snowbound! I've been playing this map since September (well, really, since last May)... and I never noticed! I did a quick search over at High Impact Halo, and it seems treefrog2 pointed this out a week ago - but still... an egg this obvious, and it's just coming out NOW? I wonder how many other Halo 3 eggs still remain out there, undiscovered? (Louis Wu 13:26:40 UTC) (permalink)
A DA Find
Raulboy noticed a Halo-centric artist at DeviantART - SangheiliArtist does a lot of cool stuff! Take a look. (Louis Wu 13:22:02 UTC) (permalink)
It's not the years, honey. It's the mileage. Luke Smith posted one last Frankie Photoshop on Bungie.net - and it's an amazing piece of work. Looks like Don was first on our forum with the news. (Louis Wu 00:29:24 UTC) (permalink)
