Updates R us... We've added a couple of shots from the incite movie to the Weapons in Halo section, showing a marine cycling through the Covenant weapons. (Blink and you'll miss it.) The fuel rod gun appears in the same sequence (about 1:56 into the Incite video), but I didn't bother to add it... the second gun is much rarer. Thanks, Brehan and Xero! I've also updated our movies page to include the two remixes made a couple of months ago. What else is the weekend for? (Louis Wu 20:01:28 UTC) (permalink) Everybody else does it... why not us? Well, maybe because we're lazy. We've added a poll to this page... let us know what you think of the concept! Results will be turned over each Sunday. (Unless your feedback convinces us that NOT polling you is a good idea.) (Louis Wu 18:12:08 UTC) (permalink) We asked PC Accelerator if we could bring you the new Halo info from their May 2000 issue. We got this reply back from Mike Salmon:
Seems pretty reasonable to us... sometimes it's hard to remember when you're looking for that next tidbit of info that you might actually be taking away someone's livelihood by printing it. (Louis Wu 14:35:12 UTC) (permalink) Who's top dog in the Halo SETI Marines? Check the 24 hour stats to see! One wonders how many machines those two top players are using. To Banzif... LA CRUNCH! Pax. (Crux Fidelis 14:17:38 UTC) (permalink) Noticed on Haloplayers... YA new clan, Followers of Chaos, enters the scene. Check 'em out! (Louis Wu 13:52:09 UTC) (permalink) Yesterday's news, but we liked it so much, we're holding it over. Lots of new info can be found in our Weapons in Halo analysis... and there have already been several very good points made about it on our forum. Weigh in yourself! (The pages are heavy on the graphics. Slow modem users, you've been warned. Hang in there, though... it's worth it.) (Louis Wu 02:23:51 UTC) (permalink) |
