Knuckle abrasions, definitely
Merciless turned in a set of pics showing the progression of a jeep down below the Silent Cartographer level, to the map room itself. No, it's not the first time it's been done... but it's the first time it's been documented like this. (The images aren't great, but you can tell what's going on.)
