Things are starting to come together
You might remember a pretty amazing animatronic Elite costume we mentioned a few times last year - turns out Pete Mander, the guy behind that costume, is the Production Designer for Halo: Faith. ManKitten noticed a link to some information about it on their Facebook page (I couldn't find it just now) - looks like it'll be in use in the movie! Update: nomis78 found a video showing off the turret they've built, too. (Louis Wu 11:10:09 UTC)
