It's the little details...
Stephen Loftus noticed that there was a bit of non-English writing at the end of one of the entries in Halsey's Journal (the book that comes with the Limited and Legendary Editions of Halo: Reach) - so he sent it to a friend in India, who was able to read it. (A scan of the snippet is here, if you want to see it for yourself.) You can read the email exchange between Stephen and his friend on our forum - and follow the rest of the thread for speculation about what it actually signifies. What a great little touch!
