Yes, Halo 3 will continue
I don't think this'll be a surprise to anyone - but Halo 3 matchmaking will continue after Reach comes out. Brian Jarrard talked a little bit to Digital Spy about how things might change after September - but we've already seen this pattern (Halo 2 continued long after Halo 3 came out, and in fact would still be online today if it had been an Xbox 360 title originally), so there's nothing to be afraid of.
