July 16, 2010 Link to this post Should game companies charge extra for online play? Whee... fun. Michael Pachter, a well-known games industry analyst, is suggesting that the decline in game software sales in the US is due to 'the replay value of titles such as Halo 3 and Call of Duty' - and that gaming companies should move to charging extra for online play to counteract this problem.
