Badass Female Pilots
Brandon Krichick pointed out an article at IO9 - 'The Most Badass Female Space Pilots Of All Time' does a really good job of picking out some great female space pilots in science fiction. (You KNOW it's a good list when it includes mentions of pilots from stories by Iain Banks, Vernor Vinge, and Alastair Reynolds.) About a third of the way down the list (sandwiched between Cowboy Bebop's Faye and Revelation Space's Ana Khouri) is Carol 'Foe Hammer' Rawley, from the first Halo. Hawt. (Louis Wu 17:36:38 UTC)
