Hellboy is gonna be a character in Halo.
Ron Perlman, who apparently has never heard of Halo, can't imagine anyone but Guillermo del Toro directing Hellboy 2 (the script for which has been turned in, according to the interview). Swing by IESB for a video interview with the guy. (Louis Wu 23:14:15 UTC)
