Obienator has released Little Red Adventures Episode 3 - there's a YouTube link available on his website, or you can download a higher-res WMP9 version (63.3 mb) or QuickTime version (63.1 mb) from our servers. Great cinematography, a new character, and a scary cliffhanger! Go watch. (Louis Wu 15:07:40 UTC)

Entertaining vids for your Monday morning
Obienator found a couple of funny vids from female gamers - you can watch OboeCrazy's funny ode to 'Standers' (folks who join social matchmaking and don't actually play, assuming that at least some of the time they'll finish in the top 3 and thereby gain an experience point without having to participate), and you can check out Little Miss Gamer's review of Gitaroo Man. Wait, what does Gitaroo Man have to do with Halo, you might wonder? Well, there's a really fun hand-drawn intro for this review which has Little Miss Gamer playing Rocket Race in Matchmaking. Check 'em out! (Louis Wu 14:23:50 UTC)

Obienator has put together 'Little Red Adventures Episode 1: Back to the Beta' - and it's pretty funny stuff! Nice filming, nice comedy, nice references! You can watch this on YouTube, or you can download higher-res versions from us: WMP9 version is 73.7 mb, QuickTime version is 57.2 mb. Go watch! (Louis Wu 13:49:15 UTC)

Once Upon A Time...
Obienator let us know that he's created a short flick about the characters from his Gameplay May Change video - it made me laugh. Great voiceover work from Nick Mascall. You can download it from us in WMP9 format (45.1 mb) or QuickTime format (38.8 mb), or watch it on YouTube. (Louis Wu 17:55:24 UTC)

The Riot #74
Second Foundation is now providing a live video feed of their recording of the Riot podcast, shown on mogulus.com. (I'm not sure how to find it, and there's no infiormation on the site itself, nor on Mogulus... but I guess this will become clearer over time.) The current episode, #74, filmed/recorded this morning, has news, a clan challenge, and an on-the-fly announcement from Obienator. Go listen! (Louis Wu 20:44:05 UTC)

Tally Ho, What?
Obienator is working on a new machinima project (search our news for older ones; they've gotten some pretty nice feedback), but he's despairing of ever finding the perfect voice actor for a specific part. He needs someone who can do a believable "distinguished English gentleman" voice - if he can't find someone, he's going to have to cut a special scene. If you think you can help, contact him through his website, or better yet just drop him an email. (Louis Wu 12:41:40 UTC)

A couple of short vids from Obienator
Don Whitford let us know that Obienator released a couple of short vids recently - there's "an extended edit of a plasma sword fight", and a Halo-flavored tribute to Penny Arcade's riff on Valve's Portal. Both are on YouTube - go watch! (Louis Wu 12:29:26 UTC)

Breakin' Up
Obienator made a funny little vid in honor of the end of the Halo 3 Beta - you can check it out on YouTube, or download it in high-res flavors from us. (All links are in his forum post.) I KNEW there was something funky about that game... (Louis Wu 16:16:06 UTC)

Warthog Hell
Obienator put together a great vid from a game he played recently - he calls it a 'big slice of humble pie', but I call it a lot of fun. His forum post contains a YouTube link, for those wanting a quick-and-dirty view - but there are also, now, downloadable versions (856x480, a bit over 50 mb each) for those who want to watch the pwnage in high-res glory. Wait for the ending - it's priceless. (Louis Wu 13:23:58 UTC)

Bungie's Angels
Obienator, who released 'Gameplay May Change During Online Play' last year (and garnered high praise for it), has released a teaser for the sequel, 'The Haxor that Loved Me' - you can watch it at YouTube from that forum post, or you can download higher-res versions. (Louis Wu 16:22:21 UTC)

Episodic Gaming
CNN takes a look at the rise of episodic gaming - and games like Halo 2, with its cliffhanger ending, are credited with opening the door, in a way. Give it a read. Thanks, Obienator. (Louis Wu 12:20:52 UTC)

The Haxor That Loved Me
Obienator submitted a trailer for "The Haxor That Loved Me", a sequel to "Gameplay May change During Online Play", to the MPRRS; great cinematics, a well-thought-out storyline and over-the-top histrionics combine to bring you a pretty funny video. I'm looking forward to the full film! It won't be out for a few months - so in the meantime, watch the trailer: 47.9 mb in either WMP9 or QuickTime formats. (This film made the MPRRS Top 20, for now.) (Louis Wu 08:44:45 UTC)

Gameplay May Change During Online Play
Obienator, of Wld n Crzy Guyz, put together a film called 'Gameplay May Change During Online Play' - it's the story of a normal bunch of guys, meeting a bunch of Xbox Live scum on the field of battle. It's pretty funny, and the MPRRS reviewers ranked it in the top 6 movies to come through the system. It's quite large (15 minutes, 100 mb), so be ready for a long download... but it's worth it! (I can say I've personally 'met' each and every one of the red team members in my time on Live.) Snag a copy in WMP9 format, or QuickTime format - your call! Obie also wrote up a blog post about the making of this video; swing by and read it, it's pretty funny. (Louis Wu 21:51:06 UTC)
