May Both Destinies Meet With Overflowing Success
In a moment that wasn't necessarily "news" this week, but was important nonetheless, Bungie made a wonderfully classy gesture congratulating the Waypoint crew for a job well done and wishing them well with the future of Halo. 343 Industries themselves followed up with an equally heartfelt and gracious response that made this diehard fan of both sides incredibly pleased. In a time where we often see studios fight dirty with each other and forget the hearts and efforts of the people involved, it's refreshing to see such warm goodwill; an added bonus to an already-exciting time. Cheers to both Bungie and 343 Industries. (GrimBrother One 21:50:45 UTC)

Halo: Saving the Galaxy with Class
mneo brought word of a very cool article from 1UP regarding the (in their opinion) lack of creativity when it comes to the marketing efforts of some of the big titles this year at E3. The article talks about how so many games fall back on things like violence and harsh language in order to not just have in the game, but to highlight and sell it. Special mention is given to Halo for not falling into these same choices, but rather playing on the title's true strengths and attractions. I couldn't agree more! (GrimBrother One 20:09:26 UTC)
