Halo and Hand Cramps Looks like TeamBeyond landed a pretty sweet interview with Josh Holmes of 343 Industries going into great detail on the new Warzone multiplayer mode, Req Packs, Arena multiplayer and more. Some of the highlights (or lowlights in some cases) are spartan customization, further req card explanation, no offline LAN support and on-map powerups are returning. Bounce-A-Gon put up a summary and started a discussion in our forum as well. (MacGyver10 16:08:08 UTC) (permalink)
From the Pages, In Step Player 3 and Player 4 The latest novel in the Halo series came out this week, called 'Hunters in The Dark' from Peter David. Not only does the cover feature the super-rare, super-awesome blind wolf, but apparently the pages on the inside have some pretty cool words too! Check out the spoilerific discussion in our forum if you're so inclined! (MacGyver10 15:55:27 UTC) (permalink)
Play to Win, Not Pay to Win There's been some concern and discussion in our forum and around the internet on the new Warzone Req Packs introduced in Halo 5: Guardians. Our timed exclusive GrimbrotherOne who now sits on the throne at 343 Industries pointed to an article Josh Holmes shared on Waypoint to help clarify these new Req Packs. Team Coco vs HBO (the TV channel, not the real one) Conan O'Brien and the cast of the HBO show Silicon Valley squared off in some Halo 5: Guardians Arena multiplayer this week on the Clueless Gamer segment. I feel like watching Team Coco play would be like playing on a team with Wu and Stuntmutt. (MacGyver10 15:40:44 UTC) (permalink)
Cortana on HoloLens Kickstarter in 2016? One of the surprises at E3 was a Halo 5: Guardians briefing with HoloLens that many were able to experience before trying Warzone multiplayer for the first time. Ryan Mccaffrey tried it out and wrote about his experience over at IGN. (MacGyver10 15:33:31 UTC) (permalink)
The Art of Halo 5: Guardians Urban Reflex let us know in our forums that the Art of Halo 5: Guardians is up for pre-order on Amazon. Spawning Season for Grunts and Jackals Rockslider on our forums continues to pull some awesome gameplay from Halo: CE, and with the craziness that is E3 this week it could have been overlooked! Check out his video on spawning a ridiculous number of covies, that then receive a little cyborg treatment courtesy of the Chief! You can also get more info in his post on our forum. Head on over to Waypoint for some cool shots of Blue Team and a gloriously rendered Nathan Fillion. (MacGyver10 14:46:14 UTC) (permalink)
