Halo 2 Anniversary Gameplay Cairo Station E3 2014 For folks who might have missed it, E3 Trailers posted some gameplay footage of the Halo 2 Anniversary version of Cairo Station, which you can watch if you want to see how the new graphics work. Good stuff! (Louis Wu 21:53:00 UTC) (permalink)
Another look at the MCC DayandKnightly returned a couple of days ago with another discussion piece about hte Master Chief Collection - swing by Reactive Bias to read it!

Whoa. Hay. One of the things I miss about the very early days of our forum was the rampant speculation - the crack pipe was pulled out, and outrageous (but sometimes spot-on) ideas were put forth. Grizzlei did some intriguing conjecturing last week, in which the Halo titles were tied to a Biblical concept, with some interesting ideas sprouting from the merger. Go read her first post (and the followup, that contained the part that got cut off when she posted too quickly). Right or wrong, it's the wild speculation that's fun. Go enjoy!

Halo 2 Saved Films - Confirmed One of the cool little tidbits about the Master Chief Collection that we haven't spotlighted came from Joystiq back on Wednesday - it looks like Halo 2 Saved Films are in. Yay! (We should have more details about the Collection soon; it's just a matter of finding the time to write things up.) Thanks to DHalo for pointing this out.

Halo CE Shenanigans AytonHunter stopped in with word of a video showing off some Halo Custom Edition singleplayer mods. Watching felt like traveling back in time to the mid-90s, where mods like this were common for games like Marathon, Unreal, and Quake. Nostalgia! (Louis Wu 21:41:51 UTC) (permalink)
Compensating mastrbiggy has done a fantastic job of keeping our front-page from looking like a blank piece of paper... but there were a few tidbits released over the week of E3 that got overlooked. Today's the day to rectify that. First up: Adult Swim's Robot Chicken took a pretty juvenile look at the relationship between MC and Cortana, but in the end, I laughed. (Link is to the mobile version, which doesn't seem to require a login to watch.) Thanks, SEspider. (Louis Wu 21:31:22 UTC) (permalink)
Reclaimer Radio With the deeply tragic news of HaloGAF Radio's demise earlier this year a group of Halo fans decided to find a way to fill the hole in our hearts. Mix, Wahrer, Ghazi, and aZooJoo have come together to bring you Reclaimer Radio. The most shocking aspect of all of this is that Tashi is now considered an ex-Halo pro. Go listen!
