Joystiq published an article highlighting that Microsoft is looking for an experienced designer to work on an 'established and well-loved strategy game franchise'. My guess is that Microsoft is referring to Age of Empires. The fact that Microsoft is building an entire team also makes me doubtful that this is related to Halo Wars - though, one can hope.
