Rockslider's back with more megabattle goodness. This time, it's three separate videos - the first is a 10-minute tutorial, showing how he set up this latest masterpiece... and the other two show a variety of outcomes. Go read about 'em, and watch! (Louis Wu 22:17:45 UTC) (permalink)
Putting a Hex on your iPad It must be a "slow news day", because Beorn's name is appearing twice! This time he stopped by to let us know he's whipped up a way for you to use the cool "hex grid-pattern" found in Halsey's Journal on your iPad. Details are given in his post. Give it a look! Neighbor and Elamite - H4 Impressions
Oops, wrote this up a couple of hours ago and forgot to post it. Elamite and Neighbor talked to Bravo about their impressions of Halo 4 from the time they got to play at E3 - give it a watch for thoughts from a couple of pros! (One thing to keep in mind - they seem to be drawing wide conclusions from the slice of gameplay they were exposed to. Maybe listen while keeping in mind that the feedback is valid to what they saw, but that extrapolating might be risky.) Thanks, CyReN. (Louis Wu 19:34:47 UTC) (permalink)
lybertyboy dispenses goodies from 30,000 feet
David Ellis was really pretty busy answering questions all week - in fact, yesterday, during a plane flight, he decided to answer even MORE questions, by setting up an impromptu Q&A session at NeoGAF. Rather than make you comb through a few hundred posts for the Ellis-penned nuggets of wisdom, we compiled them all on this page. Go see! (Louis Wu 19:17:01 UTC) (permalink)
Some Random Questions (and Answers) from 343 Devs On the final day of E3, I put together a few Halo 4 questions that had come up from either watching the released footage, or playing the available games, or just from conversations from other fans - and I went to find someone from 343 that would be willing to answer them. I found Kevin Franklin (Lead Multiplayer Designer) and David Ellis (Multiplayer Designer and Mad Mouthpiece), and they answered a huge swath of the questions we had. (There were a few they refused to touch - but hey, that's to be expected.) You can find the questions, and the summaries of their answers, on this page. There is no real order or organization to the page - it's basically just the order in which we asked the questions. Enjoy!
