Marissa's Bunny Reach Console Giveaway
Marissa's Bunny, the site set up to raise awareness for Infantile Spasms, has a new giveaway that might be of interest to Halo fans (heh): they're offering a Halo: Reach Xbox 360 console. The generous donor who provided the box asks that you remember that Marissa's fundraiser is still going; there's no requirement to enter, but you should consider it. There are multiple ways to enter; they're all listed on the contest's info page. Go see about getting yourself one of these puppies... for free! (Louis Wu 17:37:06 UTC) (permalink)

Keep the AspiHogstra Flying
Whoa. Dark Helmet is back to his old Warthog-Launching ways - only he's doing it in Reach. He's come up with a way of putting a hog on top of ONI Sword Base... old school style. Check it out! Thanks, Ducain. (Louis Wu 17:15:15 UTC) (permalink)

Halo: Reach - Fails of the Weak Volume #4
AchievementHunter's Reach Fails of the Weak #4 has a bunch of clips of folks dying in Reach - some are pretty common, others are not so much. Loved the grunt assassination on the If They Came to See Me Beg Achievement attempt... thanks, padraig08. (Louis Wu 14:16:22 UTC) (permalink)
ONI Sword Base Speed Run Devin Olsen stopped in with word of a sub-5-minute coop speedrun of ONI Sword Base - it's on Easy, but even still, it uses some sneaky tricks I'd love to try on harder difficulties! (Louis Wu 14:15:55 UTC) (permalink)

Get out, boom, get in, done.
So what do you do when you're a gunner on a Falcon, and you know you can't kill that Banshee quickly enough to stop it from destroying your ride? Well, Sai-kun's friend showed him one pretty awesome alternative... go watch 'Conquer the Sky'. And smile. (Louis Wu 12:54:17 UTC) (permalink)
By Jorge! I think I said to myself at least a dozen times yesterday "I should really post that One One Se7en" - but in the end, I totally forgot. Again. It's up now, but after reading it again, I think it was self-preservation that induced my amnesia. Where's that bottle of Jack? (I'm probably just peeved that Stuntmutt took so many shots at an overly-tall character...) (Louis Wu 12:42:52 UTC) (permalink)
Forging Ahead: Dead Ends
GhaleonEB has updated his Forging blog - the latest entry deals with the problems inherent in making a fully Forged vehicle-centric map. It's an interesting read, and touches on ideas that ANY Forger should be thinking about... check it out. (Louis Wu 12:39:58 UTC) (permalink)
The SuperinDentant? Wait, no... pillar of awesome was browsing through some old posters from the 1930s... and one of them seemed awfully familiar. Bungie inspiration... or just a random coincidence? You decide! (Louis Wu 10:46:54 UTC) (permalink)
