Thursday Afternoon at the Movies
A few new vids for you today, courtesy of urk and Bungie's Comm Chatter:
- Cone Combat is a cautionary tale about the dangers of underestimating your foes. (A tad too long, but funny.)
- Dutchy released his second (full-length) Halo 3 montage - lots of editing effects.
- Dara255 created his own Halo: Reach trailer, called 'How It Ends' - again, lots of the same clips as other folks who are making these, but different music.

ODST Mythic Difficult Guide: Uplift Reserve
The latest chapter in Tyrant's ODST Mythic Difficulty Guide, covering Uplift Reserve, is now live. This one's pretty straightforward - it's already been shown that the easiest way to run this on Legendary is to simply run it (well, Ghost it, but you get the idea), and adding skulls doesn't make a huge amount of difference. Nonetheless, there's an example video. In fact - there are two (a second video, showing a Mythic run by Rorcin, contains some slick shortcuts and shaves a minute and a half off Tyrant's time). Go read and watch! (In other Mythic ODST news, Gazas and DarkDEVASTAT10N have beaten the entire ODST campaign on Mythic - as a team. All films (including the Mombasa Streets segments) can be found in Gazas' File Share.)

McFarlane Reach Warthog and Ghost
McFarlane has posted official pages for their Reach Warthog and Ghost figures - go look, they should be out next month. (I first heard about this at NeoGAF - thanks, Eye Drop - but there's an interesting thread started by Dielectric on our own forum, too.)

EazyB pointed out a video showing off a Halo 3 Warthog first-person mod (the driver gets a first-person view) - I'm really glad Bungie didn't go with this. (I think it should be called the 'Little Old Lady' view...)

Halo: Reach - GOLD
Whoa. Not officially announced, as far as I know, but according to an interview with a Sydney Morning Herald blog, Joe Tung confirmed that Halo: Reach went gold yesterday. (The game was sent out for certification last week - "going gold" means it was approved. Next step: duplication! (Part One of that SMH interview is here. Read both parts - it's a good interview.)
